The Palm Springs Chill has been created as an expansion franchise to compete in the Arizona Winter League. The Chill is a division of Palm Springs POWER Baseball.
The Palm Springs Chill will make history as they play their first game on Friday, February 1, 2008 at Palm Springs Stadium. This will mark the return of winter baseball to historic Palm Springs Stadium in more than ten years and will continue the resurrection of baseball in Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. Palm Springs Stadium is the former spring training home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and has a long history of professional baseball.
