Now i know you probably won't disagree with the top 5 of these, but what would you do about the rest?
- American Football – of course, been around since the 1800’s.
- Baseball - One of the longest running sports in America, a revamp of Cricket.
- Basketball - Most famous in America but played all over the world by almost half a billion people.
- Hockey - It is difficult to get bored watching this, and the Americans love it for that.
- Golf - Always considered a posh mans sport, and it is, except Tiger Woods really set it off for everyone.
- Wrestling - On the TV every weekend and the occasional big fight, this is watched all over America.
- Tennis - Well, Venus and Serena kind of say it all really, plus the likes of Roddick.
- Skateboarding - Definitely one of the fastest growing sports in the world, with the help of America.
- Surfing - Although the Australians claim this, America brought this to life.
- Ice Skating - Many famous names have come out of this sport including; Jennifer Kirk - stunning.
- Boxing - will never be as popular as baseball, but when the big fights happen, there are not enough TVs for viewers.
- Soccer- Although no where near as big as American Football, still a growing sport.
- Archery - Well when you have the likes of Geena Davis, your guaranteed to get a medal.
- Volleyball - Now I am not entirely sure who invented Women's Volleyball but i would like to shake their hand.
- Cycling - A very tough sport, especially in competition with nations, but America sticks to its usual greatness.
- Track and Field - This is a great set of sports, culminated into one, and the Americans excel at it.
- Horse Racing - This is never going to be a dying sport, as long as we have horses we will be racing them.
- Rock Climbing – This has gone world wide since the film Mission impossible along with various stunts by Alain Robert.
- Extreme Sports - The sports in this category have always grasped the nation, not always in a good way.
- Auto Racing - Is very popular, but it doesn't come high because of the different opinions across America.
